Redesign of website for Miljøhuset Gnisten ensuring user-friendliness and easy access to information about initiatives in work training and other services.

Miljøhuset Gnisten is a warm-hearted company that organizes training and work experience in collaboration with NAV. Additionally, they run a thrift store, café, carpentry workshop, recycling station, and more.

PROBLEM

The company had received feedback that the original website was cluttered and it was difficult to understand what the organization was all about at first glance.


  • Organize the services in categories and assign them intuitive names

Website redesign ensuring user-friendliness and easy access to information about work training and other services. By focusing on clear design and intuitive navigation, the aim was to make the website simple for users to find the support and resources they need.

OUTCOME

Workshop

To start the project, I gathered my colleges for a workshop. We utilized card sorting with Post-it notes. The goal was to examine and organize information about what Miljøhuset Gnisten offers. During the workshop, we sorted this information into new categories that were user-friendly and intuitive.
